Join us on Sunday 7 June at 11.30am to create your own sketchbook using Japanese stab binding at the Mowbray in Sheffield!

<h3>Make your own sketchbook!</h3><p>During this 60-minutes workshop you will learn the Japanese stab binding technique to create your own sketchbook using recycled paper stocks made from disposable paper coffee cups and colourful linen threads. All materials and tools will be provided, alongside with a useful instruction sheet with step by step instructions to help you along the way, and you will leave with your new sketchbook ready to fill in!</p><p><br></p><h3>Who is this for?</h3><p>This event is for anyone 16+ interested in learning about bookbinding in a relaxing and welcoming environment. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary. The technique you will learn can be used as a basis for notebook making, artist's bookmaking and zine making.</p><p><br></p><h3>Where to find us?</h3><p>On arrival we’ll meet 11.15, to the right of The Mowbray’s bar, which you’ll find just beyond the printmakers fair. If running late you will find us at the end of the roof terrace, please ask at the bar for directions.</p><p><br></p>

<p><br></p><h3>Location </h3><p>The workshop will take place at The Cabin at the Mowbray, 118 Mowbray Street Neepsend, Sheffield, S3 8EN. The Cabin is a perfect rooftop retreat; you’ll spot antique light fittings - and a gorgeous ‘toffee apple’ finish on a beautiful reclaimed floor. Please note this workshop is not wheelchair accessible.</p><p><br></p><h3>Summer Festival</h3><p>This workshop is part of Endless Love Creative’s Summer Festival! Take your time through a thoughtfully curated artisan market and printmakers’ fair, where each piece has been made with care. You’ll find beautifully crafted prints and handmade goods, brought together by Endless Love Creative and set across The Mowbray and Victoria— two restored historical venues in the heart of Neepsend. The event is dog friendly.
