This workshop focuses on  boosting your handstand and give you a wide range of tips to develop and build trust and strength in your body.

Have you always wanted to be able to do a handstand, but don´t know where to start? Or have you been working on your handstand for a while and hit a dead end, then this workshop is for you! Regardless if you already feel at home upside down, or never had the confident to try, this workshop will help you on the way. Together with two experienced teachers you will get the chance to try a wide range of body preparation exercises, and get individual feedback. We will help you build trust, gain strength and flexibility in not only your handstand practice, but in you whole body, while having fun in a welcoming environment. Working with your body upside down and towards a handstand has many physical and mental benefits. We will talk about what this kind of practice can do to improve your health and feel stronger, more confident and calmer. Workshop leaders: Susan Mcallister - has been practicing yoga for 16 years and teaching for most of this time. She brings fun and challenging elements to her classes. She has a love for arm balancing and a wide experience with inversion classes and workshops. Tonks Blom - has been a circus performer for most of her life, where she practiced handstand for a wide range of career professionals teachers in Sweden. She has been teaching everything from circus to theater and dance for the past 15 years and has a special love for handstand practice. IMPORTANT INFO The workshop takes place in the Welcome gym in Southend- on sea. Anyone can book a ticket and If you are a member of the Welcome gym, use the Discount code: WELCOMEGYM to get your discount. You will have to show proof of membership on check in. We will refund tickets up to 72 hours before the event, the booking fee is not refundable.
