Publishing your work is a key component of a successful research career and the volume of new research that is published and shared is increasing rapidly. Building your own publication and communication strategy can enhance the impact of your research and raise your profile. This workshop will encourage participants to develop a personal communication strategy that works for them, introduce them to online tools that can be useful and include insights into the scholarly communication system.

Presenter: Dr Joanna Young is the Director of her own consultancy specialising in scholarly communication, careers and enterprise training. She delivers workshops at universities and companies around the UK and Europe and holds a BSc, MSc and PhD from the University of Edinburgh.
