Bootcamp: Positive Body Image

At St Andrew’s we are proud of our rich heritage in the provision of mental health care. Our history as a charity began in 1838 with the opening of our hospital in Northampton.Our years of experience and understanding of people’s mental health needs mean that we are proud to offer services to the community through our private therapy outpatient clinics.

Come and join us at St Andrew’s Healthcare for Mental Health Awareness Week where we are running sessions with a range of professionals about this year’s theme of body image. If you’re the parent of a young person and have concerns about their self-esteem and the way they view their body, including issues such as self-harming and eating disorders, then please join us to find out more about the signs to watch out for and the best way to get professional help.   
Join us on the 16th May from 5pm-9pm for panel discussions looking at topics such as self-harm, eating disorders, self-esteem and mental health in schools. The evening will also provide a range of exhibitors displaying their services, a photo-booth with a twist and many more evening activities.
All funds raised from tickets purchased will be donated to charity.

Programme:
17:00-17:30pm     Refreshments and exhibition viewing
17:30-18:30pm     Session 1 discussing self-esteem, eating disorders, self-harm and mental health training in schools
18:30-19:00pm     Exhibition viewing, activities in the great hall and the opportunity to meet with our clinicians.
19:30-20:30pm     Session 2 discussing self-esteem, eating disorders, self-harm and mental health training in schools (this is a repeat of session 1)
20:30-21:00pm     Final opportunity to view exhibition, meet our clinicians and conference close.
