This specialist workshop will teach you the simple printing cyanotype process, using pressed flowers and UV light to create beautiful prints – plus, you’ll have the chance to learn all about the plants growing at Bradgate with horticulture practitioner, Hafsah. Discover the structure of flowers, learn about the anatomy of wildflowers, and find out about how pollinators interact with these plants in this unique 1h workshop in the heart of Bradgate Park. Take your artwork home to remind you about flowers, nature and amazing pollinators. ' Hafsah is a horticulturist based in Leicester who has been immersed in the world of plants for the past 5 years, working with them to design gardens, grow food, create art, make medicine and lots more. Through her workshops Hafsah is passionate about sharing what she has learnt about plants to facilitate people in reconnecting with nature and taking what they have learnt to explore and engage further with the natural world' Workshop suitable for adults.Location: Deer Barn Meeting Room At Bradgate Park Visitor Centre. It’s a 20-25 min to walk, from either of the car parks mentioned below.
