Join us for Botanical Drawing!

Get ready to dive into the amazing world of plants with our botanical drawing session. Whether you've never done botanical drawing or have some sketching skills, this event is all about having fun and connecting with nature through art. Bring your creativity and let's capture the beauty of leaves, flowers, and all things green together!

Suitable for young people age 11+ who can work calmly and quietly, with an adult as well, and of course all adults, this is an ultra calm peaceful and reflectie workshop where we start by looking at other artists' botantical drawing, then do some warm ups and spend most of the class working on one detailed, beautiful piece.

If you have drawing. watercolour materials you like to use please bring them but I will provide coloured pencils, drawing pencils, pens and watercolours for you.

Please bring some botanical specimen you'd like to study- it could be an unflurling twig with leaves opening up or even blossom, some spring bulbs in flower or early flowers, it could be dried seedheads and leaves from last year, or you could treat yourself to some flowers from the supermarket or florist, or bring your favoutie houseplant!

As usual I'll be plying you with hot drinks and home made cake to keep up your energy levels!

Any questions please ask!
