Bowdon T20 Bash

The 2019 Cricket World Cup, officially known as the ICC Cricket World Cup, is being hosted by England and Wales from May to July. To coincide with the summer of cricket we are privileged to offer a rare opportunity to watch and mingle with some of England's finest cricketers up close and personal as they take on Bowdon CC in an action packed T20!

What better way to start a summer's weekend than come to the picturesque ground of Bowdon Club for what is sure to be a great afternoon and evening of entertainment. With a fully licenced bar, BBQ and array of artisan food and drink stalls its an event not to be missed.

Some of the Players

Mark Ramprakash MBE is arguably one of the finest and technically proficient batsman to ever wear the 3 lions of England. Having made his 1st class debut at just 17, he is one of only a handful of players to have made a century of centuries throughout his career.

Jonathan Trott is England's former rock at No.3. A three-time Ashes winner, Wisden Cricketer of the Year and ICC Cricketer of the Year there is no doubting that he was a run machine. Not only scoring centuries at Test level, Jonathan has the highest ODI batting average and in 2009 topped the run-scoring charts in the English domestic Twenty20 Cup.

Matthew Hoggard is one of the real characters of England cricket both on and off the pitch. Part of the famous 2005 Ashes team, he took nine wickets at Trent Bridge and The Oval to help England seal their first Ashes win for 18 years, and famously saw them home at Trent Bridge with the greatest 8 not out in Test history.
