Espensen Spirit

Bowie Brunch is the first ticketed event at Bristol Spirit, a cafe on 86 Whitehall Road in Bristol. The cafe is co-founded by the owners of Espensen Spirit. 
Tickets for Bowie Brunch cost £25.91 (inc.VAT &amp; booking fee), and includes two courses of food and two Espensen Spirit drinks.
The menu starts with Chipotle Shakshouka with avacado flatbreads, and treacle-cured local bacon for the meateaters. This is followed by French Toast ice cream sandwiches with boozy fruit compote. 
Guests should arrive promptly at 11.30 to enjoy their first free drink, and the first course will then be served at 12.00pm. 
Madam Gibbo AKA Katie Gibbons is our DJ for the day. Katie moved to the UK in 2000 to immerse herself in the British techno scene which culminated in studying an MA at Goldsmiths University in Techno and Philosophy. After spending 5 ½ years at The Wire magazine and co-presenting a show on NTS radio she moved to Bristol at the beginning of 2016. You can now catch her Madam Gibbo show the first Sunday of every month 9-11pm on 10Twenty radio.The first record Katie ever bought was David Bowie's Changes, when she was six. She also owns the Labyrinth soundtrack on vinyl so she's the perfect choice for our brunch!
