Royal Academy of Dance

Sunday 17 April, 2016 A high-tempo masterclass focussing on male ballet technique and choreography, and led by a male teacher. The class will help you develop your core strength, musicality, presentation and performance skills. 
Ages 7 & over (Beginners to RAD Grade 3 or equivalent): 10.00am - 12.00pm
Ages 10 & over (RAD Grade 4 or equivalent and above): 12.45 – 2.45pm 
Tutor: Joshua Tuifua PDTD, RAD RTS. Josh is a former soloist with The Royal Ballet, having attended the Royal Ballet School form a young age. After participating in an outreach program with Inner London Primary Schools, Josh joined their Junior Associates, before training full-time at White Lodge and graduating from the Upper School. During his sixteen years with the company, Josh performed numerous roles and a wide range of classical repertoire, he also worked closely with choreographers creating roles in various contemporary dance pieces, as well as establishing himself as a popular character artiste. Josh graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance Professional Dance Teachers Diploma, with Distinction and has since taught in South Africa, with Birmingham Royal Ballets’ Education Outreach Programme and at a number of dance schools in and around London.
