Bracken Control at Ouaisne

A hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Natural Environment team removing and clearing bracken at Ouaisne

You'll be helping to cut and clear bracken.

Bracken growth can encroah onto sensitive grassland, reducing biodiversity and limiting space for native plants and wildlife.

By removing bracken, you'll help to restore these habitats, allowing local species such as the grass snake and agile frog to thrive.

We'll meet at Ouaisne carpark.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to our natural environment.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Tools will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes / boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!
