Come join us for some hands-on water quality testing on the tidal River Lea!
💧We are part of a broad network of community scientists monitoring the quality of the River Lea, from Amonnia levels, to metals like Copper using handheld Hanna checkers.
This year we are trialing a two part methodology for water quality testing, to better account for the tidal, and therefore alternatively Brackish (incoming tide) and Freshwater (outgoing tide) sampling times.
Learn about the significance of clean water and how to measure key parameters that ensure its safety. This hands on event is perfect for anyone passionate about environmental science, biology, or simply curious about the health of our urban water courses.
