About this event

  • 2 hours

Following on from the success of the brainstrust Bass Belle 10 miler, brainstrust has now added the brainstrust Bass Belle 10km event to the 'Take on 10 for brain tumours' series, to complete the set of races featuring the number 10. This is a fast, 'pancake' flat and definitely PB potential race which takes in the picturesque South Cambridgeshire villages of Bassingbourn and Litlington. The race is open to social and club runners . Runners must be at least 15 years old to take part with no upper age limit. The course consists of 7.5km on road and 2.5km off road along a grass track. Part of the course is on private land, so entering the event is your only way of completing the race! Runners are reminded that there is a 1h 45minute time limit for completing the race. There is a bespoke medal for all finishers as well as category and team trophies and a trophy for the highest fundraiser. Race numbers will be posted out in advance of the race so no need for queuing on race day for registration. There will be refreshments and a bbq on race day as well as a charity cake stall. This is a full charity event with all proceeds going to brainstrust, the brain cancer people.
