Bramley Mural project - ceramic leaf workshop - session 7

In 2023 we were lucky enough to be given a grant by Leeds 2023 to help us create a community mural on the side of Bramley based premises. This mural was designed by local people, and then applied by a Bramley artist, to represent the feelings and thoughts of the local community around death, dying and bereavement. We are now moving to the third stage of the project with these extra workshops!

Firefly pottery and Full Circle Funerals have worked together to create an additional 20 ceramic leaves, which once completed will be added onto the mural aswell to join the previous 40 already in situ.

Each leaf is available to be decorated, for anyone who may wish to do so, in memory of someone who has died. Once all 20 leaves have been completed we will add these to the bare branches of the tree on the mural, to represent the people we all love who are no longer here in a physical form.
