The adventure industry is currently filled with the same faces. We see them in epic settings achieving great things, but they represent a fraction of the adventurers & accomplishments in the world. Passion Fruit Pictures is changing that!Run by Frit Sarita Tam, we have several films coming in out 2021/22 that will showcase the incredible feats of ordinary people. A Muslim hiker inspiring and bringing together a group of over 100 other Muslim women into the outdoors, a young female long-distance cyclist meeting womxn older than herself to discuss the importance of the outdoors in their lives, a team of handcyclists crossing Africa, and a 54 year old paddleboarder who became the first woman to complete the coast-to-coast trail in Northern England.

'Brave Enough' is a featurette film showcasing Jo Moseley's 162 mile paddleboarding challenge to become the first woman to complete the coast-to-coast trail across northern England, aged 54. The film share’s Jo's personal journey, from sobbing in the supermarket -overwhelmed by life - to realising her dream to SUP the canals, whilst picking up litter and raising money for the surf therapy charity, The Wave Project and 2MinuteBeachClean Foundation. Cal Major, record breaking paddleboarder and ocean advocate, described Brave Enough as "One of the most honest and beautiful adventure films I've seen in a long time. Jo's heartfelt desire to make the world a better place, and her determination to keep going mile after mile are so inspiring."Liv Bolton of The Outdoors Fix Podcast described it as "A beautiful, uplifting and hopeful film. Jo's story will brighten your day, make you ponder the important things in life and get you planning your own personal adventure."Sharing her dream in 2016 the idea was met with scepticism, as was her ability to complete the challenge at her age. In 'Brave Enough' we see Jo cherish the joy, magic and beauty on her doorstep as she fulfils her goal. We will explore what it means to be brave and show that you are never too old to dream a new dream and it’s never too late to make a difference.
