Breathe & Write
Overview
Breath-Inspired Writing: A Creative & Nervous System Reset
This session brings together breathwork, stillness and visualisation with dedicated writing time to support nervous system regulation and creative flow.
We begin with a short introduction and guided meditation, followed by 30 minutes of slow, deep, circular breathing accompanied by music.
From here, you can move into your writing, creative project, or journaling — or simply follow the unction of your creative flow - allowing ideas to emerge more freely from a grounded place and heart position of surrender.
Framework
- Opening introduction and guided meditation
- 30-minute breathwork journey to music
- 110 minutes of writing time to music
- Optional stream-of-consciousness exercises

This breathing modality gently calms the nervous system, helping you back to a centred, connected state.

Creative Benefits of Regular Breathwork

- Deepens intuition and connection to your authentic creative voice
Health & Nervous System Benefits
Slow, circular breathing supports the nervous system to move from stress into a more regulated, balanced state. By increasing oxygenation in the body and gently activating the parasympathetic nervous system, this style of breathwork helps calm the mind, reduce tension and create a sense of internal safety and presence.
Regular breathwork practice can support emotional regulation, reduce feelings of anxiety and overwhelm and increase our resilience to stress. Many people experience improved sleep, increased energy and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
