Overview

The session will include meditation, some gentle movement exercises and a guided conscious connected breathwork journey.

Conscious connected breathwork (CCB) is the practice of using the breath as a tool to help reset your breathing pattern and has been shown to have a host of benefits that positively impact wellbeing.This will be a chance to drop-in and connect with yourself, with others, release stress from the body and leave with a new clarity to take into the rest of your week!Please bring with you:

  • A water bottle
  • Clothes for easeful movement (like you might for a gentle yoga class) - although we will spend part of the session laying down, so please wear layers!
  • A yoga mat and blanket (if possible)
  • An eye mask (optional)
  • Openness and curiosity to meet your breath and any emotions that may come up during the session
  • Try not to eat a heavy meal up to 1 hour before the event starts. This is a conscious practice and therefore a sober practice

Contraindications

If you are pregnant or have been diagnosed with any of the following: Glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular issues such as angina, detached retina, previous heart attack or stroke, severe PTSD or trauma, diagnosed aneurysms in the brain or abdomen, uncontrolled thyroid conditions or diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, history of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, or any psychiatric hospitalisation or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, please get in touch before booking.
