Are you fanatical about beer and fancy doing something a little different?
We’re extremely proud of what we do and are keen to share our passion for making our meticulously crafted beer. Our tour offers guests an opportunity to look behind the scenes, understand how we developed from a tiny micro-brewery behind a pub and sample the freshest Ossett beer possible.
The tour will begin at 12:45pm (AT THE BREWERS 1841 - ROUND THE CORNER FROM THE BREWERY) before heading over to the Brewery itself and will last around 45 minutes , before heading to the newly refurbished The Brewers 1841 for the all important tasting. Guests will be given a tutored tasting of three of our beers. FAQs
We are a manufacturing site and have to adhere to strict Health & Safety regulations.
Children – Sorry we do not allow under 18s on our brewery tours.
Alcohol – Whilst we love beer, we cannot allow anyone deemed by our staff to be unduly inebriated on a brewery tour.
Footwear – Please be advised this is a working brewery and sensible footwear is essential especially on metal walkways and wet floors.
Arrival – Please note that tours commence at exactly 12:45pm, unless stated otherwise. We advise guests to arrive 10-15 minutes this.
Accessibility – Some areas of the tour require climbing stairs and are not suitable for wheel chair users.
Car Park – There is a private car park located at the brewery. The car park will be locked when the Taproom is closed, if you plan to leave your car overnight, please park on the road outside the Brewers 1841 pub.
