We’re excited to invite 20-40 year olds to join Bridging Beyond and AgeUK East London for an engaging workshop with older people, to foster empathy and understanding between generations. Through guided conversations and interactive group activities with older people, participants will explore diverse life experiences, challenge age-related stereotypes, and cultivate deeper empathy across age groups. Come and be part of building a more connected, respectful, and understanding community—one story at a time.

What we will do together:

  • Open hearted listening and sharing
  • Empathetic Dialogue and Discussion

Benefits:

  • Build empathy, mutual respect and understanding with others in the community
  • Appreciate generational perspectives and life lessons
  • Break down age-related stereotypes that get in the way of real understanding
  • Walk away with insight, connection, and inspiration

Who Should Attend?

Adults (ages 20-40) who want to engage more meaningfully with older generations and explore life experiences and perspectives that foster mutual respect and understanding. This experience not only enriches personal growth but also contributes to stronger, more inclusive communities.
