Bristol Come Dancing 2020 - Dance For Your Lives
**404 Dancers Not Found** A Message From Organisers: 
In light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic, it is with heavy hearts that we have come to the decision to postpone Bristol Come Dancing. This is disappointing for all involved. The dancers and teachers who have been training intensely for weeks, and the whole team at Temwa and Aid Box Community. It's important that we act responsibly and take advice from the World Health Organisation seriously to take care of you, those close to you, and our wider communities.
Our plan is to reschedule the event to a future date. By that point, we'll be grateful to all come together and celebrate by helping those in need. Your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event and we will update you when we know what this date will be. Ticket holders should refer to the e-mail sent out via eventbrite for further information.
On a happier note, the fundraiser led by our dance participants and from ticket sales has helped raise a phenomenal amount of money already. These funds will be especially needed by both Temwa and ABC in the upcoming months and will support some of the world's most vulnerable communities who will be especially effected by the Coronavirus.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this decision and we will keep you updated regarding the rescheduling of Bristol Come Dancing.

WHAT: A charity dance competition like no other...

An incredible group of people are bravely taking part in 6 weeks of dance training, learning two routines in Tango and Musical Theatre, ready for a live performance at Boomtown's Area 404, infront of a live audience and panel of judges. 
The couples will be going head to head (or cheek to cheek) in the ultimate charity dance off, to compete for the title of Bristol Come Dancing Champions of 2020.
As well a series of awesome dances from the participants, we'll be treated to some great entertainment from stilt walkers and a professional dance troop to Bristol's RnB Choir and DJs to close the evening! Expect a raucously glitzy night of hope restoring fun in aid of raising life changing funds for Temwa and Aid Box Community.

Fresh out of another realm comes Carmen Monoxide, a singer-producer who breathes a noxious concoction of sultry and satirical into every performance.

Lottie Ball is a dance and movement psychotherapist and group facilitator, and runs Get Free Dance Therapy here in Bristol. She is an all round inspiring performer and bringer of positive vibes!

THE DANCE TEACHERS
This year's participants have been learning from two of Bristol's favourite dance teachers; Tannith Perry of <A HREF="https://eastonsocialdancing.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Easton Social Dancing</A> who has been teaching Tango and Angie Edwards of <A HREF="https://www.aedancefitness.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AE Dance + Fitness</A> who has been teaching musical theatre! They run regular classes in Bristol across various different styles, for complete beginners and people with more experience... so check out their classes if you've been inspired! 
THE VENUE
Step into the dystopian dreamscape of AREA 404...
Big thanks go to Boomtown for their support this year! We're excited to be hosting this year's event in their new Bristol venue, Area 404! An unusual warehouse space adorned with the same style of set and decor as is seen at the festival each year... this will bring the Bristol edge, for sure.
The venue is accessible, with parking options nearby and located not too far from Bristol Temple Meads train station.
TICKETS
General Admission: £20
Concessions: £12 (ABC customers and anyone under 18 years old)
Donate A Ticket: £20 (This option allows you to purchase a ticket so that someone else can attend this event: we will offer donated tickets to Temwa and ABC's incredible family of volunteers as well as to ABC's customers. Thank you!)
