British Leeks Technical Event & Variety Trials

The Leek Growers Association are thrilled to announce the return of the biennial British Leeks Technical Event & Variety Trials on Tuesday 24 February 2026 at The Petwood Hotel, Stixwould Road, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire LN10 6QG, from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The event will bring together industry professionals, experts and key stakeholders to discuss pressing issues, advancements and research within the Leek sector. The event will also host a trade exhibition allowing plenty of networking opportunities for delegates and exhibitors.
The event is available to all involved in the Leek industry and always proves to be a popular fixture in the calendar and generates a huge turnout.
Following lunch everyone will be able to assess the new varieties from all the major seed houses which again helps bring the industry together, showcasing some excellent new performers for future Leek plantings. The value that local growers and those from further afield get from having the opportunity to view new Leek genetics, alongside established varieties, cannot be underestimated. Viewing of the variety trials will be a short drive away located at J & V Casey & Son Ltd, by kind permission of Tim Casey, Willow Farm, Dogdyke, New York, Lincolnshire LN4 4UY.
