Brixton LPJS 2015 - EPEE

Brixton Fencing Club is at the heart of a community of fencers of all ages and abilities in South London. The club specialises in epee. We provide fencing classes for beginners, advanced epee training and one to one coaching for intermediate and expert fencers. Club sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Brixton Recreation Centre. Brixton Fencing Club also offer fencing lessons in schools in Lambeth. www.brixtonfencingclub.com

<P><SPAN STYLE="font-size: 2em; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Two competitions for the price of one!</SPAN></P>
<P>Ideal for fencers of all standards – Brixton Fencing’s LPJS has two levels of competition in one event.</P>
<P>The main competition runs like every other in the Leon Paul Junior Series, complete with medals and points which may qualify you to join the England epee squad in Poland (points apply to U13s and U15s only).</P>
<P>For newer fencers (U11 and below) who are building experience and learning to compete, getting knocked out in the first round doesn’t mean you have to go home early and empty handed.  We are running a plate competition with special medals – in a competition designed to build confidence, and recognise new talent.  </P>

<P>Fencers must be members of British Fencing, Scottish Fencing, WAFU, NIAFU or BAF membership. Membership is available to British Fencing at <A HREF="http://www.britishfencing.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.britishfencing.com</A>. </P>
<H2>EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT</H2>
<P>All fencers must wear correct kit including breeches, long socks, plastrons, and masks with back straps. The organisers reserve the right to reject the kit of any fencer on safety grounds.</P>
<P>Blade sizes: Under 9 - size 0; Under 11 - size 2; Under 13 – size 2; Under 15 – size 5</P>
