Description

Dear BSMS Third Years,

With exams approaching it is understandable to be stressed. You’ve worked hard over your first clinical year and it all culminates in the next two months. As a previous BSMS student myself, I was once in your very shoes. I want to help you through this process by putting on a third year revision course for you.

This course will focus on delivering high yield theory (symptoms, signs, differentials, investigations and management), and will integrate OSCE skills (key history and examination points). We will focus on the most common and most important conditions, and you should expect to learn these common exam topics in-depth. I will also include some of the finer detail so you are prepared in a well-rounded way for your exams. The focus of all content will be exam success.

The course will take place on June 10 and 11, 2017 (10am to 5pm each day) at Mayfield House Lecture Theatre (Ground Floor, Room 129), University of Brighton Falmer Campus, Brighton, BN1 9PH.

On Day 1 (Saturday June 10 2017, 10am to 5pm) we will focus on Cardiology and Gastroenterology (inc some surgical topics).

On Day 2 (Sunday June 11 2017, 10am to 5pm) we will focus on Respiratory, Endocrinology and Geriatrics.
