Join us in climbing the 'classic' hills of Glen Coe, one of Scotland's most beautiful glens

The rugged and iconic mountains of stunning Glen Coe loom steeply above the road and can be intimidating for even the most experienced hillwalkers! On this guided walk, you cxan join other like-minded women and one of our experienced local guides and start exploring these impenetrable looking peaks.

Our professionally guided hikes are also the perfect opportunity to seek advice from an expert or voice any questions you might have, so that you can build mountain skills and grow your confidence on the move!

Buachaille Etive Mor. The 'big herdsman of Etive', known to hillwalkers simply as 'the Buachaille' is the most photographed mountain in Scotland. It's iconic shape stands tall above the A82 on the drive into the glen but it's steep rocky ridges and dark north-facing coire can be intimidating to even experienced mountain-goers. The summit has a unique view over the expansive Rannoch Moor and makes for an experience that you'll never forget!

*Weather-permitting we try to offer a hike over both Munro summits of this striking mountain. We also aim to lead two seprate groups, to allow for a range of pace on the hill (subject to numbers).

YOUR BOOKING

You will be guided by a Summer Mountain Leader/British Athletics qualified female guide, with extensive experience mountaineering/hill-waking in the Scottish Mountains.

Our goal is to empower women with the skills and confidence neccessary to 'take the reigns' when hiking in groups or to explore the mountains independently.

No previous experience is necessary but a good basic level of fitness is required. An equipment list will be provided to all ladies booking with Girls on Hills. Upon booking you will receive an email with details of our day.

Girls on Hills is a 'no-frills' experience - we don't include food or accommodation, allowing you the flexibility to choose your own to suit travel logistics or budget.

We pride ourselves on being 'approachable and relatable', so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any concerns.
