Budding Brains Drop-In. 2pm - 3pm

Established in 1905, the Royal Society of Sculptors is the oldest and largest organisation dedicated to sculpture in the UK. You can experience sculpture/3D art through exhibitions as well as our learning and outreach programmes, both online and at our galleries in London's South Kensington.

Join artist and designer Lucy Grainge for drop-in workshops all about our brains and what makes them unique

The Royal Society Of Sculptors

The drop-in sessions will explore and celebrate neurodiversity, and the things that make our brains extraordinary, through creative and hands-on activities. Create a sculpture to plant in our community flower garden that reflects your own unique way of thinking and seeing the world. 

 

Lucy has undertaken extensive interviews and examined research into dyslexia and neurodiversity, and uses her artwork and outreach to break down the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding it. Her work focuses on storytelling, sharing experiences and being positive about dyslexia. 

 

The Budding Brains workshops are open to young people from 6-16 years (as well as parents/ guardians and families) who live or study in the following boroughs: Ealing, Hammersmith &amp; Fulham, Kensington &amp; Chelsea &amp; Westminster.

 

Adult supervision required.You can drop-in at any point during the hour slot you have booked.
