About this event

Are you planning to use assessed groupwork in the next academic year? Or are you already looking to implement Buddycheck, the University's tool for peer evaluation? Take one of our online workshops to gain a comprehensive overview of the Buddycheck peer evaluation system available in Canvas. This session will empower you with practical strategies to:

  • Enhance Student Engagement: Learn how Buddycheck encourages active participation and fosters greater accountability within groups.
  • Ensure Fair Contribution & Grading: Understand how peer evaluations can streamline assessment and provide individualised grades that accurately reflect each student's effort.
  • Address Common Groupwork Problems: Discover key features and best practices that have been useful in responding to typical challenges like unequal contribution and facilitating smoother team dynamics.
  • Maximise Effectiveness: Gain recommendations on best practice for implementations to ensure the most smooth and effective use of the tool, including how to communicate its value to your students.

This overview can then be followed up with one-to-one, just-in-time support during the semester.
