Build A Business: Intellectual Property - Protect Your Assets

Find out the basics of Intellectual Property (IP) and how it is important to a new business.

To join this workshop, you or your business needs to reside within the following GM authorities: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan.

You also need to be:

The owner of a business OR an aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.

All attendees must have complete this Build A Business Registration Form to be able to join the workshop. If you have not previously completed a Build a Business registration form please complete after booking your place.

Intellectual Property can be worth cash to your business!

Make sure your product, service, website and brand are protected from would be copycats or do not infringe others’ rights.

At this workshop you will learn:

• How to understand the 4 main types of IP & how they differ​
• Get a clearer idea of what IP you own​
• Trading online and IP, common issues and risks
• Where to go to for further help and advice

Please arrive between 9:30-10:00am to register, workshop starts at 10:00am.
