Build Your Own Doll

Let your imagination and your inner child run wild when you create your very own jointed doll. (Not suitable for beginners.)

Please note - workshops start at 10 a.m. - we would be grateful if you did not arrive before 9.45 a.m.

Make your own bespoke, unique ‘art’ doll. During this full -day workshop you will be able to alter a basic doll pattern to create different arms, hands, legs and feet. You can also choose from a range of animal and human ‘heads’, ears and tails and learn how to put the doll together using different simple joints. The options are endless!

NOTE— there will be another optional day course to learn how to make a range of clothes and accessories for your doll.

What we will provide:

Calico to make your doll

A basic doll pattern with a range of options

Stuffing

Tea/Coffee and biscuits!

What you will need to bring:

We would prefer you to bring your own sewing machine, however if this is not possible we do have a range of machines you can hire for £5.

Your own fabric / felt / plush / fur fabric if you do not wish to make your doll from calico.

Wool for hair / fur, if you need it

A packed lunch
