Building Resilience – Open Workshop

Thursday 29th June, St Albans UK, 10am-5pm

with Paul Z Jackson and Janine Waldman, directors of The Solutions Focus

These are tough times in which many people are scared of losing their jobs, facing the uncertainties of restructures, against a backdrop of continuing budget cuts.

  • Are you and your people being asked to produce better performance and improved results, often with less resource and time?

  • Are you sometimes overwhelmed with problems?

  • In your organisation are people worn down by a constant struggle of fire-fighting and dealing with crises?

If this sounds familiar then we'd like to invite you to join us for our one-day Building Resilience workshop.

In particular, we'll explore the four dimensions of resilience: mental, physical, emotional and social, providing a range of tips and tools for each. By attending this interactive and engaging workshop you will learn:

  • Tips and techniques for building your resources, confidence and ability to adapt and respond

  • An effective solutions-focused approach to tackling difficult situations

  • How to promote feelings of success rather than conflict, difficulty, inadequacy and failure

  • How to respond to a crisis in a way that works well for you

Guided by Resilience Pocketbook authors, Paul Z Jackson and Janine Waldman, you'll learn how to apply instantly useable and highly impactful techniques and hear how you can use methods that are applied in leading organisations across the world, including Walkers, PepsiCo, Reading Borough Council, John Laing and The Metropolitan Police.

As Andrew Fowlie, General Manager, NHS Grampion Scotland, says,

"Solutions-orientated thinking and actions are amongst the most powerful tools a modern executive can have. Weaving positive delivery into my business has enabled me to find ways forward with changes that seemed unattainable due to resource restraint, political circumstance and cultural negativity.”

We're offering a special introductory price of £99 + VAT for the day.
