Building resilience through humour-Virtual Class
Event Information
About this Event
Research has shown that resilience is not extraordinary. It is not a trait that people either have or do not have. It is a learned ability that you can build, like humour.
Why should I attend?
When you find yourself facing unwelcome change, having someone tell you to look for the humour in your situation may be the last thing you want to hear, but it may be just what you need to hear.
Don’t waste precious time in a self-pity party.
Learn how Humour gives you the ability to avoid feelings of negativity and helplessness so you’re better able to see what needs to be done to move forward.
There are practical ideas we can engage with to learn how to use humour to build resilience facing challenges.
What will I learn?
In "Building resilience through humour" you'll learn:
- Why we need humour more than ever
- How resilience is built through humour
- Top strategies to start building resilience
- How to predict resiliency in people through their sense of humour
