Building your Future Workforce: Skills for Retail, Transport and Logistics
Overview
From electric fleets and artificial intelligence, to virtual reality and greener supply chains, new technologies and sustainability goals are transforming how retail, transport and logistics businesses operate.
Join this Local Skills Improvement Plan focus group to discuss what skills and training are needed to keep our local workforce ahead of the curve.
We’d like to hear from businesses at the heart of these industries about emerging trends, challenges, and the skills you really need — so future provision better supports your workforce.
Have your say and help shape the Local Skills Improvement Plan for your sector.
This focus group is for businesses in the West of England and North Somerset and Somerset areas.
Why join us?
Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) place employers at the heart of local skills systems. Colleges and universities are training your future workforce, so join us to discuss what skills you need from your staff now, and in the future. Your insights will help us work with education providers and partners to shape provision and courses moving forward. Business West Chambers of Commerce is working in partnership with Somerset Chamber of Commerce to deliver the Somerset LSIP.
