Drink Adventurous is me, Amanda, and I have over a decades experience working in the drinks trade. One thing I love is opening up new spirits, cocktails, wines and drinking experiences to people in a fun way. I can help you:- Host you and your friends for an evening based around cocktails or wine (or both!) that is tailored to how much you want to know and how much you want to get involved in shaking up those drinks- Got a special occasion coming up - birthday, anniversary, school friend reunion...? Drink Adventurous

Phew, Christmas is done. You’ve rung in the New Year bells. You have had a quiet few weeks. But it’s still cold and miserable out there and it’s (almost) payday so take a leaf of of the Scots’ book and put a smile on your face with one of the most important holidays of the year – BURNS NIGHT!
This year Two Spoons are not holding back and what’s more, this special evening will be led by a real life Scot. Amanda Baxter will funnel her decade’s experience talking all things booze to educate you in whisky and more along with cocktail maestro Luca mixing up a range of fantastic drinks. The hottest ticket in town includes:
- 3 classic whisky cocktails
- Some drinks related chat and a Robert Burns* poem or two
- A platter of Scotland’s best culinary treats including haggis bonbons, scotch eggs (it's in the name!), smoked salmon, shortbread and marmalade dessert and more
- The chance to win prizes with a little friendly competition
- Goody bags for all
And if you are really lucky the evening might just lead to a bit of Scottish country dancing...

*Who is Robert Burns you ask? Scotland’s national poet who was around from 1759 to 1796 writing poetry and songs, some of it is pretty raunchy!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 years old +
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
By train: Honor Oak Park Station is 1 min walk from where we are. It is served by the London Overground and regular South Western trains to London Bridge and London Victoria.
By car: Free Parking is available outside and in the surrounding streets. By bus: Buses coming to the area are 122, 171, 172, P4, P12. Nightbus N171 By taxi: Linkway Cars Ltd, open 24 hours, 2 doors down from us.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No we'll have your details  
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Absolutely, give as a gift!
