Join artist Khadijah Carberry (Generous Waste) and Jasdeep from Forij for an Industrial Heritage & Ecology Walk

Exploring the overlap between Burton’s urban industrial past and its emerging natural ecologies. Moving from industrial streets to the river and hidden greenspaces, the walk invites participants to slow down and notice how histories of industry, ecology and regeneration are layered in the landscape. Jasdeep will lead a gentle sip and stroll, pausing with hedgerow plants to brew simple teas and share their ecological stories, cultivating a deeper connection with the land. Participants will receive a handmade keepsake guide, with an optional visit to Khadijah’s studio to print a photo from the journey on handmade paper made from local waste materials.
