Bushcraft Full Day Course

Bushcraft Full Day Course

Overview

Get ready to immerse yourself in the wild with our Bushcraft Full Day Course - learn survival skills and re-connect with nature

Bushcraft is the art of living in harmony with nature — the practical skills and knowledge our ancestors once relied on to thrive in every environment on Earth. At its heart, bushcraft is about rediscovering this ancient wisdom and exploring what it truly means to be human once again.

This is the course that’s designed to give you the fundamentals – and the confidence – to be able to go out, move through and camp in wilderness areas.

What you will learn:

GEAR

What to carry, bag and gear set up.

SHELTER

How to set up a tarp shelter and useful knots.

FIRE

Fire lighting using natural tinders. How to build a fire.

TOOLS

Techniques on how to safely use the fundamental bushcraft tools. Carve a variety of useful items such as adjustable pot hangers and tent pegs – so that you won’t have to carry them!

ENVIRONMENT

Learn how to identify, and the uses of, some of our most common native trees and plants such as natural fibres for cordage making, firelighting, food and medicine.
