Harrow Nature Heroesis an amazing activity and reward club that holds fascinating and fun nature and wildlife logged sessions acrossHarrow Parksand stunning nature reserves!We provide fun, first-hand experiences for children and adults to learn all about the local animals and plant life. We aim to inspire others to be nature enthusiasts and evolve into the caretakers of the future. Come and join us on our next adventure and learn something new!

Do butterflies fascinate you? Do you enjoy spending time in nature with your family? If so, come and discover butterflies in their natural habitat. Learn amazing facts with Simon Braidman, our local expert. This fun event is designed to give participants an insight into the world of butterflies, what they need and how we can support them. There will be a story, craft and butterfly hunt. Following Local Government regulations, we are allowed a maximum of 15 people at a session, so book your place fast to avoid disappointment. Please book a place for yourself as well as your child. (No more than 4 places can be booked by one person.)This event is funded by <a href="https://tescocommunitygrants.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tesco Community Grant Bags of Help</a>, in collaboration with <a href="https://www.harrowheritagetrust.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harrow Heritage Trust</a> and <a href="https://www.harrowncf.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harrow Nature Conservation Forum</a>. This activity is suitable for adults and families with children over 4. (No unaccompanied children) Please bring: <ul><li>A rug or mat to sit on.</li><li>Warm and waterproof clothes, if appropriate, we will be outdoors for the whole session. Except in extreme conditions, we will go ahead with the event whatever the weather. </li><li>Sturdy shoes or boots as the ground can get muddy and be uneven.</li><li>Your Harrow Nature Heroes logbook (if you have one)</li><li>Please wear long sleeves and trousers to protect your arms and legs.</li></ul>Please be aware that there are no toilets in the park.Accessibility.The park is accessible to all and our event is inclusive. Directions The car park is to the left (when facing it) of the Tithe Farm Sports &amp; Social Club, 151 Rayners Ln, Harrow HA2 0XH. This is the best postcode to use. Do not use the Google maps postcode it will take you around the houses. London Transport: The H12 bus runs along Rayner&#x27;s Lane. The nearest bus stops are at Coles Crescent stops K and H. it is a short walk westwards to the entrance.The 398 runs along Alexandra Avenue; stop V or Y, outside the Alexandra Medical Centre, are the closest.The nearest tube is Rayners Lane Station, on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. The park is a 15-minute walk from the station.Terms and Conditions : <ul><li>By attending this session you agree that if you or anyone in the home has been told to self-isolate or are showing symptoms of Coronavirus, you will not attend and will let us know the day before. </li><li>If symptoms occur shortly after the session you will report this to us.</li><li>In the event of extreme weather conditions, we may have to cancel. In this event, we will give a full refund minus the Eventbrite charges.
