Buxton Hill Walks

Buxton Hill Walks

Nineteenth HoleFairfield, England
Overview

Looking for some low impact exercise? Do you struggle with how you're feeling? Need someone to just listen and not try to 'fix' things?

Buxton Hill Walks are our Themed, guided, Friendly and Supportive Walks in and around the Peak District. These walks are led by Gez a fully trained walk leader and run in partnership with Zink in Buxton.

This route starts at The 19th Hole pub in Fairfield, and ends at The Zink Project. This local route takes us behind Fairfield and through the stunning limestone scenery of Woo Dale. Crossing the A6, we will meander home through the rolling green fields of King Sterndale, Cowdale and Staden. The theme of this walk is geology, and we will be learning more about the limestone of Woo Dale and its significance!

The start point can be accessed on foot from Buxton centre or by public transport.

Alternatively, a lift is available from Zink to The 19th Hole with Gez, walk leader. Spaces are limited, please email Gez directly to reserve a spot: walk@zink.org.uk
