About this event

A fun & relaxing space to delve into yourself and bring out your creative witchy side. Tarot cards for many people are a way of connecting to their deeper selves and understanding their path and true desires. This workshop combines the art of free drawing, collage and mixed media and aims to give you a fun evening with your friends & new faces by doing something a little different.

What to expect:

At the workshop I'll give you a bit of guidance on how to get started, show you all the materials we've got and show you materials such as books on symbolism that might inspire you. The best thing to do with Tarot is not to think about it too much, let your subconcious flow, and see what your're drawn to.

This workshop is very low pressure - an opportunity to get creative (and maybe learn something about yourself along the way!).

Who's the workshop for?

Anyone new to tarot or those who have been practising for a long time!

What your ticket includes:

  • Unlimited materials! Including collage, pens, pencils, stickers & blank cards
  • We'll have a mini thermal printer incase you want to put a selfie or a particular photo on your card

YOUR TUTOR

Hi I'm Zara who's behind Ginger Green. I started teaching watercolours in March 2023 which is exciting because its been more than a year now! Multiple times week I run beginner watercolour classes where each session we have a different theme, generally to do with nature. This year I'm looking forward to running day courses, or some courses that span over a few weeks where we can get really stuck in to a particular subject.

My background is in illustration which I studied in Bristol from 2016 - 2019. I have previously worked in a bit of editorial illustration under the name 'Zara Wilkins'.

The thing I love most about watercolours is that it is so versatile. There are so many different ways it can be used, so many effects that you can create with different levels of water, pigment, paper weights and brushes. There doesn't really seem to be an end to what you can do with it. Teaching continues to be such a fun experience and I really look forward to every class I run.
