An opportunity to learn, be inspired by and network with everyone who delivers sport and physical activity in the London Borough of Camden.

The latest in the series of Camden Active Networking Events is set for the 26th September and everyone is invited. If you are a sports clubs, community centre, venue, charity, running group, coach, team leader or volunteer, come and spend 2 hours hearing from organisations that work in Camden. Hear about their experiences, learn from their insight and be inspired by their successes. You will have the choice of two options in session 1 and a further two in session 2. 17: 45 - 18.00 - Arrival 18.00 - 18.10 - Welcome 18.10 - 18.30 - Update from LBC Physical Activity Team Updates from the LBC team, London Sport and GLL on everything physical activity related in Camden. 18.30 - 19.00 - Session 1 Option A - What is Social Prescribing? An insightful session delivered by VAC exploring how you can be part of the Social Prescribing network. Physical Activity opportunities are amongst the highest requested by Camden residents, this is your chance to hear how you can be referred into to increase participant numbers. Option B - Positive Activity for Young People A session focused on youth safety and how sport and physical activity could be used to create positive opportunities for young people. (content subject to change)19.00 - 19.30 - Session 2Option A – Multi Partnership WorkingA change to the original agenda item. This session will give opportunities to dive into the benefits, explore the frustrations and share insight into partnership working. What makes them work? What challenges do you have to overcome? Who benefits the most? Guest featuring Sarah Hoyle from Kentish Town Community Centre &amp; Andy Gilbert from GLL. 
Option B – Funding, Funding, FundingA workshop led from London Sport, the Active Partnership for London. They will explore current funding streams highlight best practice from successful applications and provide their expertise on areas for improvement to help you know what to include within your applications. 19.30 - 20.00 - NetworkingAn opportunity to speak to organisations based in your local area to explore how you could work together, submit a joint funding application or create new pathways for your current participants. 20.00 - DepartThere is also an <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/camden-active-networking-event-afternoon-session-tickets-70140220287?aff=AfternoonSession&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_name=&amp;utm_source=govdelivery&amp;utm_term=" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">afternoon session</a> avalible from 15.00 - 17.00.
