Camden Talks Data is a series of events that aim to show how Camden Council uses data to improve our services. It is an open forum where we will present current or proposed projects that use data techniques and people have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback. We believe that data rights are human rights. We’re committed through our Data Charter, developed with Camden residents, to using data ethically and showing how and why we use the data techniques that we do. Find out more about our Data Charter at <a href="https://www.camden.gov.uk/data-charter" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.camden.gov.uk/data-charter</a> The first Camden Talks Data event is taking place on Wednesday, 8th November, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm at Pancras Square Library, 5 Pancras Square N1C 4AG. Places are free but we ask that you book your ticket, to help us plan for numbers.Evening buffet available from 5.45pm.Important: We will be offering a selection of vegetarian, vegan and halal food at this event. Please email participation@camden.gov.uk to let us know if you have any allergies or dietary needs.The venue is accessible by wheel chair. Hearing loops will be available. Short presentations will be screened during the event. There will be 2 case studies describing how data is used, which we will email to pre-registered participants a few days before the event, but there is no expectation to read these in advance unless you want to. We will provide printed copies including large print copies of the case studies at the event.If you have other access requirements or additional needs, please let us know by emailing: participation@camden.gov.uk
