Description

The aim of the workshops: To develop the best possible emotional health and wellbeing services to support and enable children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families and carers to live their life to the full.

This workshop is open to parent carers and practitioners from a range of services who support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. It will provide an opportunity to hear about the work done to date, the challenges to be overcome and to jointly develop an effective service. As some of you may be aware the new 0-25years service is now called Bee-U and this will be discussed as part of workshop.

This workshop will cover Learning Disability Pathway - young people using this pathway will have a learning disability as their primary need, but may also have other associated conditions such as ASC, ADHD and medical needs. They may be referred to the service due to behaviour that challenges or other mental health issues

Another workshop for Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD and Neurodevelopment conditions is running in January.

Workshop will run 9.30am (refreshments) and start at 10am and run till 2.30pm. Lunch will be available (please advise any dietary requirements). Agenda will follow. Parking is Free in main Theatre Car Park. Entrance to venue is via stairs or a lift is available.

This event is jointly organised with PODS Parent/Carer Forum (for families with Disabled Children), Parent and Carer Council (Shropshire), Telford and Wrekin CCG and Shropshire CCG
