Level 7 Skate Event

Get ready, skaters! Cabot Circus is bringing back the Level 7 Skate Event, in partnership with Canvas, for the third year running during October half-term. We’re transforming the Level 7 multi-storey car park into the ultimate skate haven!

<h3>Free Skating Lessons with Campus!</h3> When: Sat 26th, Tues 29th, Wed 30th, Thurs 31st Oct and Sat 2nd Nov10am - 4pm Campus will be on hand in the slow space to provide skateboard coaching from their experienced coaching staff.Sessions are aimed at beginners and those less confident from 7 years old upwards.Each session has plenty of time to practice and is designed to build confidence and get people rolling.We will cover the basics from foot positioning, pushing, and turning through to the theory behind basic tricks like how to ollie.This skateboard coaching is completely free of charge and with skateboards and helmets also available to use for free there is no better reason to give skateboarding a go! <h4>Interested here’s how it works…</h4>At the start of every hour we invite up to 15 participants to take part a group tuition session.You’ll need to book a slot for the hour that suits you.Please arrive 5 minutess before the session begins so we can check waivers and get any equipment ready for you.Each coaching session will last for around 45 minutes.To get you started for the first 15 mins we will lead a group session.For the remaining 30 mins of the session you will be free for you to use the slow space and equipment to practice. But don’t worry our coaches still be on hand to lend advice and guidance where needed. These sessions take place in the Slow Space an area of the skatepark specially designed for beginners and those less confident. So if you want to build confidence in a less hectic and more controlled environment then these could be the perfect sessions for you! All sessions are free, but due to limited capacity tickets are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
