Candle Making Workshop with Caribbean Lunch
Join us for a fun and hands-on candle making workshop where you'll craft your own beautiful candles from scratch. Enjoy the vibrant flavors of a delicious Caribbean lunch while admiring your handmade candle. This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to learn a new skill and have a chill, relaxing day. Don’t miss out on this awesome experience!
The afternoon entails a luxury candle-making workshop and a Caribbean dining experience. Hosted by Angelica, founder of Tribal Unicorn Candle Bar, alongside Kemelia, founder of Afrobbean Kitchen, this immersive session brings together creativity, fragrance, and food in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
You’ll be guided step by step through the candle-making process, with no prior experience required. Working with a curated library of fragrances, you’ll create your own luxury candle using vegan-friendly coconut wax. This experience goes beyond the basics of candle making. You’ll have the opportunity to personalise your candle with a selection of design elements and embellishments, allowing you to create a finished piece that reflects your individual style.
As part of this collaboration, guests will enjoy a freshly prepared Caribbean lunch by Afrobbean Kitchen. The lunch options include:
- Curry Chicken Roti
- Curry Chickpea Roti (Vg)
Your meal will be served with a choice of a Rum Punch cocktail, a mocktail, or a soft drink.
By the end of the 2-hour session, you’ll leave with a new creative skill and a limited-edition 200g luxury scented candle, designed and styled by you, ready to take pride of place in your home.
Please note:
- This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and over.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Paid parking is available in the surrounding area.
- Alcoholic beverages are available at the Untraditional Pub on-site for guests aged 18+, and soft drinks can be purchased from Afrobbean Kitchen.
All candle-making materials, equipment, and protective clothing are provided. Caribbean lunch and drinks are included in the session. To ensure the best experience for everyone, late arrivals of more than 10 minutes will unfortunately not be able to join the workshop.
