Join the museum curator on a tour around William Booth's childhood home - in candlelight!

Join us for Nottingham's Light Night celebration and see the birthplace of William Booth as you've never seen it before - in candlelight! Step back in time and enjoy a curator-led guided tour around Booth's Georgian home and learn about the young man who would go on to change the world by bringing the light of hope into people's lives. FREE tours; donations always welcome. Tours suitable for ages 7+. Prior to the tours, the Museum will be open to everyone from 4-5pm for drop-in visits in full light. Light Night activities (free, all-ages drop-in crafts workshop, complimentary hot drinks and biscuits, live music performances) in The Salvation Army Community Centre next door to the Museum from 4-8pm.


Candlelight Museum Tours at: 5pm, 6pm & 7pm (booking essential - spaces limited).


Tours are limited to 8 people per tour. Book early to avoid disappointment. In the event you are unable to attend, please contact the Museum on 0115 979 3464 (or email wbbm@salvationarmy.org.uk or cancel through Eventbrite) to cancel your space so that we can make it available to another person.

Wheelchair access limited to the ground floor of the Museum. Internal museum lift will not be available, unfortunately.
