Capital Conversations, in partnership with McLeod Media.Introducing Our Guests:Archie Goodburn - A Scottish and GB swimmer, he is the 2023 British Champion in the 50m breaststroke and competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.Earlier this year, Archie Goodburn was awarded the Principal’s Medal in recognition of his outstanding achievements as an elite swimmer, his academic excellence, and his unwavering resilience in the face of adversity. Despite a devastating diagnosis of a rare brain tumour, Archie has continued to excel both in his sport and studies, embodying determination and positivity. David Smith MBE - An elite athlete, coach, and speaker, David Smith MBE has an extraordinary story of resilience and perseverance. A multi-sport competitor for Great Britain in rowing, bobsleigh, and cycling, David has faced immense personal challenges, including paralysis and a 14-year battle with cancer. His journey is one of overcoming the odds, inspiring audiences worldwide with his ability to thrive despite adversity.
