Capitals Collaboration Day 2019

The Natural Capital Coalition brings together the different initiatives and organisations working in natural capital to find solutions and create opportunities through collaboration. Its membership is global and includes science, academia, research, business, advisory, accountancy, finance, policy, non-governmental-organisations and civil society.The Social & Human Capital Coalition is a global multi-stakeholder collaboration that brings together leading initiatives and organizations to help companies recognize, measure and value the importance of people and communities.

<p>For the first time, the annual Collaboration Day will broaden its ambition to host an integrated  discussion across all capitals. Together we intend to:</p><ul><li>explore the opportunities of collaborative capitals thinking </li><li>build a stronger integrated community to deliver this ambition</li></ul><p>Discussions will cover the practical opportunities that Capitals thinking can bring in response to some of the world&#x27;s biggest challenges; what could capitals thinking achieve when applied to  poverty, food crises, climate change, inequality, global biodiversity loss and more. We&#x27;ll look deep into some practical examples of capitals thinking and open them up for discussion. We&#x27;ll consider what new innovations and solutions are needed to help us navigate the next decade, and specifically what our community can do to achieve this. As ever, the day will be interactive with lots of networking opportunities. </p><p>This year&#x27;s event will coincide with other events in Madrid the same week; including the European Business and Nature Summit, and the Global Platform on Business and Biodiversity&#x27;s annual event. Registration is granted to Coalition Organizations on a preferential basis, but will open to others at a later date.</p>

<h3>Please note: All participants are warmly invited to join us for a complimentary drinks reception after the Collaboration Day, hosted by WeValueNature in the same venue 18:00 - 20:00. </h3>
