Brave the cold and raise money for Islamic Help’s Sudan Emergency Relief by joining us on a hike to Carding Mill Valley. Open to all!!

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us for a soul-stirring trek through the scenic Shropshire Hills (Carding Mill Valley) as we trek in solidarity with the people of Sudan. This meaningful challenge aims to raise vital funds for Islamic Help's Sudan Emergency Relief.


WHO CAN JOIN?

This trek is open to all brothers and sisters aged 16 and over who are passionate about making a difference. Whether you’re an avid hiker or a first timer, you’ll be supported by a friendly team and fellow fundraisers every step of the way. The hike will be led by fully qualified hiking guides. NOTE: Please ensure you are fit and in good health to participate. If you have any existing medical conditions or concerns, consult your GP before signing up.


Meeting Point: 9 am - Islamic Help car park, 17-21 Ombersley Road, Birmingham B12 8UR. Coach will depart from here and return here.


Registration: £30 (Transport Included)

Fundraising Target: £150


What to Bring: A small backpack. A packed lunch & drink. Warm/waterproof clothing, hiking footwear with ankle support. Any medications you may require.


Hike Route: A moderate trail, with some rough terrain. Approx time, 4.5-5hrs.


OTHER NOTES: By registering, you agree to participate at your own risk and will not hold the organisers or venue liable for injury or loss, except in cases of proven negligence. Tickets are non-refundable. Transport will be arranged. Please be on time at the meeting point. If you miss the transport due to lateness, tickets will NOT be refunded. Photography & videography may be in place. Content may be shared by us and/or third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the day. We expect everyone to behave acceptably and follow the instructions and rules laid out by the hiking guides.
