Care for Your Patch of Sherwood

Care for Your Patch of Sherwood

Feel Good Gardens CICKings Clipstone, England
Wednesday, Jan 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 12 pm GMT
Overview

Come together with people from across Nottinghamshire and learn how to care for your patch of Sherwood Forest.

This is a drop-in session, so please pop down to see us when you can between 9.30am and 12pm.

Whether you’re part of a community group, a local parish, a school, or simply passionate about your local green space, this is a great chance to gain practical skills, meet fellow enthusiasts, and see how your efforts help reconnect Nottinghamshire communities with our forest’s ancient landscape.

As well as giving away free native trees, you can join hands-on workshops offering guidance on:

  • Caring for the native trees and shrubs you plant
  • Seed collecting and tree propagation
  • Supporting biodiversity and local wildlife

We will also be giving away establishment materials along with our trees, such as stakes and guards, to give the trees the best chance of thriving!

When: Wednesday 14th January 2026 9.30am - 12.00pm

Where: Sherwood Seedbank, Forestry Holdings, Kings Clipstone. ///airstrip.bricks.adventure

Who: Whether you’re part of a community group, a local parish, a school, or just passionate about your local green space, this is a great chance to gain practical skills, meet fellow enthusiasts, and learn how your efforts help reconnect Nottinghamshire communities with our forest’s ancient landscape.
