The Natural Sciences Collections Association (NatSCA) is a UK based membership organisation and charity run by volunteers from the membership.Our mission is to promote and support natural science collections, the institutions that house them and the people that work with them, in order to improve collections care, understanding, accessibility and enjoyment for all.Our meetings (events, training, conferences) are open to all, and are targeted towards providing the best possible service to our members and others working with and in support of natural science collections. A one day conference exploring advances in natural science conservation

NatSCA is hosting a one-day conference dedicated to conservation and its role in advancing the care of specimens, objects and archives that form our natural science collections. Often considered to be a very specific subject area, in reality this field is highly diverse. Natural science conservation deals with a huge range of collections and materials, preserving the bio- and geo-diversity of our world, along with the associated archives, objects and stories linked to these collections.
