Carpe Aqua

John has been a keen swimmer since his youth, even working as a lifeguard at 18 at Manchester Uni. Since then througout his career in music he's visited pools around the world learning something with each visit. Moseley Road Baths where John now volunteers as a lifeguard is one of his favourites - primarily due to the love and care that the Edwardian builders put into it's design and the fine folk who keep it going. John would like people to have the chance to experience this fine pool in a different setting than usual and looks forward to welcoming you.

A LITTE BLISS IN BRUM
We're hosting a couple of hours of relaxed floating about in soft lighting with fine music at Moseley Road Baths. 
Yes: the water temperature is as warm as the Caribbean Sea.  This isn't for folk who like to charge up and down the pool - which is fine of course, but just not for this event. This is for people who want to stretch, float, relax, listen to music, study the roof, chat with friends. As my friend Greg summed up the first Friday "Like minded people floating, listening to fine music" We'll go from 8.45pm to 10.30pm.
Kick your shoes off when you arrive. Head for your own private poolside changing cubicle, leave your stuff there, quick shower and....... immerse. Easy. Just a few dates to come to as we juggle around Theatre at the Baths and Easter.   We only have  26 guests so everyone is really comfortable. Musically it's going to be eclectic but mellow, just as you'll be after a little while with us.  
FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Over 18's only for this one. Re Timing - We can't programme an event for 8.45 on Evenbrite but aim to arrive around then and we'll be ready for you. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The frequent no 50 bus stops right outside. Taxi is good too and there's a fine bike rack. If you need to park let me know via FB pm or here and I'll send you handy parking hints for the area.  What can I bring into the event? The urge to relax. Something you're comfortable wearing in water. There'll be floats available so no need to bring. A towel Phone might be handy as a torch. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
