Castell Quartet perform Corelli's Christmas Concerto, Mendelssohn's Four Pieces for String Quartet and Beethoven's String Quartet "The Harp"

<p>For Clapham Chamber Concerts’ December offering, the Castell Quartet return following a successful CCC debut in May 2025. Led by Artistic Director Amanda Lake, the group offer a seasonal opening of Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, a short work culminating in a traditional Pastorale, depicting the shepherds of Bethlehem. </p><p>The programme also includes Mendelssohn’s Four Pieces for String Quartet, whilst Beethoven’s String Quartet Op 74 “The Harp”, brings the programme to a powerful, life-affirming close. Join us for a an evening of beautiful music making amongst friends at St Paul’s Clapham.</p>
