Welcome to the seventh edition of the Castlegate Festival! This year’s festival celebrates the rich heritage, arts and music of Sheffield’s oldest quarter but also looks to its exciting future with the redevelopment of one of its central sites - the Castle site, derelict and boarded up since the demolition of the Castle Market in 2015. Thus, Vulcan is helping with shovel and safety hat!Castlegate is home to many exciting art spaces, restaurants and bars, hotels as well as the National Videogame Museum.
